Hang Múa: Your Worthwhile Stopover in Ninh Binh, Offering Stunning Scenery reminiscent of Fairyland.
Uncover the Unseen Beauty of Hang Múa - Ninh Binh's Hidden Gem
Situated at the foot of Múa Mountain, within the eco-tourism complex in Khê Đầu Hạ village, Ninh Xuân commune, Hoa Lư district, Ninh Binh.
Upon reaching Hang Múa, you'll challenge your endurance by climbing 486 stone steps to the mountain top, where you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the Tam Cốc area, adorned with endless lush green rice fields.
This area boasts a landscape of towering limestone mountains surrounding the delta, not only beautiful but also strategically advantageous for defending the citadel against foreign invaders. In this land lies a mountain and a Hang Múa – a peculiar name derived from folklore. Legend has it that in ancient times, King Tran relocated the capital to Hoa Lư and established the Am Thái Vi court, often visiting the cave beneath this mountain to listen to the melodious songs and dances of the palace maidens, hence the name Hang Múa.
In the heart of the monument lies a large artificial lake adorned with ancient green moss. The space is incredibly serene and beautiful, shaded by lush green trees. White stone steps lead up to the mountaintop like a pathway to a fairyland.
At the summit stands a statue of Quan The Am Bodhisattva, gazing down upon the ancient capital land. With its peaceful demeanor and a panoramic view encompassing the vast land of Hoa Lu, many can't help but be overwhelmed by the enchanting surroundings.
From National Highway 1A towards Ninh Binh city, you'll turn left towards the scenic area of Trang An or Bich Dong, following provincial road 491C to reach Hang Mua.
